Ian Allen
CEO
Ian Allen is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Camber Systems, helping local, state, and federal governments use data and machine learning to better serve communities and manage resources. Prior to Camber Systems, Ian served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Third Option Foundation, a 501(c)3 that provides survivorship support and resiliency services to the operators and families of CIA Special Operations.
His government service includes ten years as a Marine Infantry Officer, and seven years as a Paramilitary Operations Officer with the CIA. He holds a BA from the University of San Diego in International Relations, and he was awarded an Intelligence Star and Meritorious Service Medal. Ian is passionate about empowering institutions with the tools to make people’s lives better. He lives in Virginia with his family.

Navin Vembar
CTO
Navin Vembar is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Camber Systems, lending nearly 20 years of experience in government tech and a background in mathematics, data, and software to help make the world safer and better at every level of government. Navin got his start in government as a GS-7 software developer at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and then moved on to run large programs at the FAA, including one that modernized the exchange of geospatial aeronautical information throughout the national airspace.
Most recently, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of the General Services Administration. Navin holds a PhD in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was named a Fed 100 by Federal Computer Week and a Digital Transformation Hero by FedScoop. He cares deeply about delivering impactful, ethical technology that can transform the way government agencies meet their mission.

Kia Roberts
Kia Roberts is the Founder and Principal of Triangle Investigations. Triangle Investigations is a group of lawyers and expert investigators conducting misconduct (i.e., sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation) investigations within workplaces, schools, and other organizations. Triangle also offers its clients usage of Triangle’s exclusive Telli TM app, which works as a reporting mechanism for persons to report misconduct within their organization. Triangle also offers customized policy-writing services, and conducts highly engaging training sessions.
Prior to founding Triangle, Kia was the NFL’s first-ever Director of Investigations, a position in which she conducted investigations into NFL players and employees accused of violating the NFL’s Code of Conduct. Before joining the NFL, Kia spent approximately a decade as a prosecutor in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, finishing her time there as a homicide prosecutor. Kia received her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School, and her undergraduate degree from Duke University. A native of New Orleans, Kia lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and two young children.

Josh Mendelsohn
A veteran of a number of Silicon Valley companies, Josh’s career has been largely focused on helping startups and nonprofits scale to support growing customer and user bases. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Hangar, a New York City firm building public-sector focused products and services from the ground up. Josh was a co-founder of Hattery, which prior to a 2013 sale to Google, invested in early-stage startups, using a full-time team of design, engineering, operations, and finance experts to help accelerate the growth of portfolio companies.
Josh started his career with the Federal Government at the Department of the Treasury and Department of Defense, and worked as a PM at Google for four years where he created the Google Disaster Response Program, now part of Google.org, as well as the @Google Talks program. In 2016, Josh was part of the senior leadership team that advised Mike Bloomberg on a potential Presidential run. Since its founding, Josh has also served as an advisory board member and mentor to Project Entrepreneur, an effort built by UBS and Rent the Runway to foster female entrepreneurship. He serves as a board member and advisor to a number of companies and nonprofits, including Bloomberg, Google, NASA, and the U.S. Department of Defense. He started his first company when he was 12. Josh graduated from Harvard with an AB in Government. He and his wife, Julie, live in New York City.

Phaedra Chrousos
Phaedra Chrousos formerly served as the co-founder and commissioner of the U.S. government’s Technology Transformation Service, where she was responsible for the digital services team (18F) and the Presidential Innovation Fellowship program. Before entering public service, she co-founded and led two technology companies. She received a BA from Georgetown University, an MSC with distinction from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.
